There is a homicide investigation in Seffner after a deceased man was found with a gunshot wound.
The Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office is conducting the Central Florida homicide investigation. On May 14th at 3:14am, HCSO’s Communications Center received a 911 call reporting that a person had been shot in the 100 block of Phillips Drive.
Deputies arrived on the scene at 3:17am and located an adult male victim on the property with at least one gunshot wound to his upper body, who was pronounced deceased at the scene.
“Violence has no place in our neighborhoods, and our detectives are committed to uncovering the full truth of what happened,” said Sheriff Chad Chronister. “We urge anyone who saw or heard something, no matter how small it may seem, to come forward and contact us.”
