A Central Florida woman claimed a $10 million Powerball prize.
The Florida Lottery recently announced that Noemi Figuerda, of Kissimmee, claimed the $10 million prize from a Powerball drawing.
The Central Florida woman chose to receive her winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $4,488,330.34.
The Osceola County winner purchased her winning ticket from La Caribena Grocery & Restaurant, located at 131 Buena Ventura Boulevard in Kissimmee.
She claimed her big prize at the Florida Lottery’s Orlando District Office.
The prize was from a drawing that was held on May 2, 2026.
Since joining Powerball in 2009, the game has generated more than $3.37 billion in contributions to education statewide. Florida is among the top-selling Powerball states in the country, with more than 159 million winning tickets totaling more than $4.09 billion in prizes, including 18 jackpot winners.
Powerball drawings are broadcast live, in high definition, from the Florida Lottery’s state-of-the-art draw studio in Tallahassee. Drawings are also available for viewing on the Lottery’s website and official YouTube channel.
