The Employment Network of Central Florida is planning its 3rd Annual Disability Employment Expo at the Fashion Square Mall, May 7th, 10 am to 1 pm. There will be presentations on topics important to all job seekers with disabilities.
Employers will be hosting tables, talking about job opportunities, critiquing resumes, and providing mock interviews so these potential employees can polish up their interview skills. Last year, tables were hosted by 18 major employers and 15 agencies that provide Supported Employment or other employment related services.
Scheduled to appear this year include Walgreens, Cole Engineering, Waldorf Astoria & Bonnet Creek Hotels, just to name a few.
The Employment Network of Central Florida is a collaboration of professionals committed to utilizing resources to improve the quality of life and increasing opportunities for individuals with disabilities. They are joined in this endeavor by the Agency for Persons with Disabilities (serving individuals with Developmental Disabilities including Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disability, Prader-Willi Syndrome, and Spina Bifida), the Business Leadership Network (businesses dedicated to expanding diversity recruiting efforts to include people with disabilities), and the Veterans Administration.
