An 18-year-old was recently arrested after fleeing on foot from a traffic stop in Orange County.
This month, Orange County Sheriff’s Office deputies conducted a traffic stop and when the vehicle stopped, Xavier Jordan Jimenez Jr. fled on foot from the vehicle.
According to OCSO, Jimenez was quickly apprehended by local deputies.
Law enforcement said that while running, he threw a backpack containing two assault rifle style pistols. “Our deputies did a great job getting these guns off the street,” Orange County Sheriff’s Office posted.
According to local law enforcement, Jimenez was charged with Unlawful Carry of a Firearm, due to his age.
