High speed rail is one step closer to happening in California. The Rail Authority unveiled a new plan today. It’s supposedly “better, faster, and cheaper”.
The High Speed Rail Authority is showing off its revised plan. And really it’s about three words; better, faster and cheaper. This plan is $30 billion cheaper. So $98 billion is now $68 billion.
One big reason the bill is lower is that the plan will integrate local rail services.
And its about jobs. Jobs which California desperately needs. And oh, by the way, Florida too!
