The Orange County Clerk of Courts is looking for individuals with customer service and clerical experience to serve the community as Deputy Clerks.
The Orange County Clerk of Courts is holding in person interviews for Deputy Clerk positions on January 26th and 27th. Interested persons are asked to sign up for an available time to interview on site at the Orange County Courthouse.
According to the job details, Deputy Clerks perform a variety of clerical duties which can be basic filing to specialized clerical duties depending on division assignment. “For instance, clerical duties related to the processing and maintenance of records and associated payment of fees/fines to include court costs, traffic fines, and child support. Receive incoming telephone calls and provide routine information upon request. Flexibility to work a schedule based on the needs of the court, including evenings, weekends and holidays, is necessary for some Division assignments. Interview and interact with customers in person or face to face is required in many areas,” the job posting stated.
Prior to an interview, the Clerk of Courts insists that you have completed an application online.
