Orlando police believe that the death of Laura Gonsalves, whose body was found in a pond off the Rosemont/Lake Orlando Country Club, was accidental.
Gonsalves’ body was found in one of the ponds/lakes on Monday evening, around 7:00 p.m., after it was reported she hadn’t been seen in about 5 hours.
Gonsalves, 39, worked for a company called Discount Golf Balls and was experienced diver, who had conducted dives for golf balls at multiple locations.
No foul play is suspected in her death and police believe that she died accidentally.
The Medical Examiner is yet to rule officially, on the cause and manner of Gonsalves’ death.
