Two Central Florida men have been indicted for murder after a fatal shooting at a Kissimmee birthday party.
An Osceola County grand jury formally indicted 41-year-old Maximo Mercado and 29-year-old Liam Nicholson for First Degree Murder (with a Firearm) for fatally shooting a man at a birthday party.
On January 21, 2024, the suspects attended a birthday party at a home in Osceola County.
As they were leaving, a physical altercation occurred involving 31-year-old Steven Perez. Perez was shot and killed.
The State presented sufficient evidence to a grand jury to secure First Degree Murder (with a Firearm) indictments against Mercado and Nicholson.
LIAM NICHOLSON DID NOT SHOOT ANYONE. HE ATTEMPTED TO DIFUSE THE SITUATION. MR. MERCADO HAS ADMITTED AS MUCH. WHY IS MR. BAIN DOING THIS.
They both deserve everything they have coming to them. I hope they rot in jail.
