Troopers have identified the two Orlando men killed on Orange Blossom Trail near 42nd Street, Thursday evening, after their vehicle ended up on the wrong side of the road.

Rayard Shegog, 29, the driver of a 2004 Ford vehicle and his passenger, Alexander Assoian, 23, were killed, after the vehicle which was going southbound, traveled into the northbound lanes.

Troopers said, a 2000 Chrysler van, driven by Karen Abramowitz, 53, traveling northbound struck the right side of the Ford vehicle.

Shegog and Assoian were taken to the Orlando Regional Medical Center where they were pronounced dead.

Toxicology results are being awaited to determine whether alcohol played a role in the crash, troopers said.

Abramowitz was taken to ORMC with serious injuries.

Troopers said, debris from the crash struck a 2010 Kia that was also traveling north on OBT, behind Abramowitz’s vehicle.

Its really sad that two promising lives were taken so suddenly. I pray for the woman who hit my cousin’s car, she must be going through a really rough time right now also. God can heal all things. Our family will get through this.
