A total of four persons have died as a result of the fiery crash at Palm Beach International Airport, as the lone survivor has also died, according to the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office.
Officials said the plane that carried two students, a flight instructor and another person from the Florida Institute of Technology’s aviation school stopped at the airport to clear U.S. Customs after flying in from the Bahamas. After refueling, the plane took off to return to the school in Melbourne but immediately reported to the control tower it was experiencing unspecified problems.
The identities of the persons who died in the plane crash have not been released.
