VITAS Healthcare, the nation’s leading provider of end-of-life care, invites the community to a free Lunch and Learn seminar discussing ways to promote healthy aging on Thursday, November 3, from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at One Senior Place, 715 Douglas Ave. Altamonte Springs, Florida, 32714.
Led by VITAS Medical Director Dr. Mary Busowski, the discussion will touch on subjects such as immunizations, preventative screenings and other ways to create healthy habits as we get older. A light lunch will be provided and guests are encouraged to ask questions and share their personal experiences.
Dr. Busowski joined VITAS in 2015 and has more than 13 years of medical experience. She received a medical degree from the University of South Carolina’s School of Medicine, specializing in internal medicine. She has served on the board of many organizations including, the Florida Chapter of the American College of Physicians, Florida Chapter ACP Key Contact Program where she currently serves on the advisory council, the American Medical Association and the Florida Medical Association.
