A six-time convicted felon was recently arrested after fleeing from a Central Florida traffic stop.
This month, Hillsborough County Sheriff’s Office deputies observed a motorcycle with no visible license plate near Madison Avenue and 78th Street near Tampa.
According to law enforcement, the driver, 36-year-old Antonio Williams, was wearing a clown face mask and began operating the motorcycle recklessly. Deputies attempted a traffic stop, but Williams refused to stop and fled at a high rate of speed.
Deputies then observed Williams turn onto Trenton Street where he abandoned the motorcycle and fled on foot near a body of water.
Following a brief foot pursuit, Williams was taken into custody.
During the pursuit, deputies saw Williams drop a black satchel into the water. The bag was recovered and found to contain multiple types of narcotics and a stolen firearm.
Williams was facing charges of Reckless Driving, No Valid Motorcycle License, Fleeing to Elude Highspeed, Felon in Possession of a Firearm, Possession of Firearm During Commission of Felony, Armed Trafficking in Fentanyl (4 to 14 Grams), Possession of Cannabis Less than 20 Grams, Armed Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell or Deliver, Armed Trafficking in Amphetamine 28 to 200 Grams, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and Tampering with Physical Evidence.
“This individual made it clear he had no regard for the law or the safety of anyone around him,” said Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister. “Driving dangerously, fleeing from law enforcement, and being in possession of a stolen firearm and illegal drugs is the kind of behavior that has no place in our community and that we are committed to keeping off our streets.”
This is an active investigation, according to local law enforcement.

6 Felony conviction and he’s out on the street, maybe the sheriff needs to look into the judge that keeps this drug dealing low life on the street. Sounds like the judge may be an accessory to the drugs deals and whatever this guy intended with the stolen gun.
