Santa’s Wonderland Village Opens in Winter Garden

On Friday, December 8th the switch flipped to illuminate more than ten thousand lights as the inaugural Santa’s Wonderland Village opened in Winter Garden.




This new Orange County holiday tradition will feature over 30 gigantic light  displays, Santa’s Magical Midway, delicious fair food and Santa Claus. Santa’s Wonderland Village is produced by Orlando-based Strates Shows, Inc, which is  celebrating its 100th anniversary in business during 2023.

Santa’s Wonderland Village is located at 1500 E. Plant Street near S.R. 429 in Winter Garden. Admission and parking are both free. This unique holiday experience will be open for nine evenings Friday, December 8th to Sunday, December 10th, Friday, December 15th 20  Sunday, December 17th and Thursday, December 21st to Saturday, December 23rd. Operating  hours are Fridays/Thursday 5pm-10pm, Saturdays 3pm-11pm and Sundays 3pm-10pm.

Santa Claus, an Elf helper, and The Grinch will be calling Winter Garden home during the  Central Florida holiday festival. Families may take their own family pictures for free. “Splash,” a steel drum entertainer from Melbourne, will perform Christmas carols nightly.

Guests will be able to walkthrough giant illuminated decorations that will be positioned  throughout the event. The displays are produced by North Pole Productions, one of America’s leading production companies specializing in customized light shows for  fairgrounds, museums, and attractions.

“Santa’s Magical Midway” will feature a collection of state-of-the-art amusement rides including a Kiddieland designed especially for children, made to order fair food, and challenging games of skill.
