In case you missed it, the Orange County Convention Center (OCCC) continues to demonstrate its industry-leading hospitality and innovative business strategy by creating Unbelievably Real experiences for its clients and guests.
The OCCC’s established reputation as a leader in the business has resulted in multiple industry recognitions for the Center and its dedicated staff in 2023.
“The OCCC continues to drive our industry forward with world-class facilities and innovative solutions to address our customers’ needs,” said OCCC Executive Director Mark Tester. “These recognitions are a testament to the Center’s continued success and prominence as an industry leader.”
Meetings Today announced the winners of its 2023 Best of Meetings Today Awards, an annual recognition given to the top meeting facilities and destination marketing organizations (DMOs) in North America, as well as the top global DMOs. The winners were selected via input from both the Meetings Today marketing team and a public vote. The OCCC was among the winners for the Best Convention Centers award.
Northstar Meetings Group also recently awarded the Center with a 2023 Bronze Stella Award – acknowledging its status as one of the best convention centers in the Southeastern U.S. The Stella Awards recognize organizations from around the world for consistently achieving overall excellence by delivering quality service and innovation to meeting and event professionals. This is the Center’s fourth consecutive year receiving recognition for its “top-drawer service” and “beautiful design”.
ConventionSouth, a leading meetings industry publication in the Southern U.S., awarded the Center with a 2023 Readers Choice Award. This award is determined by top meeting professionals who hold events in the South coming together to recognize the Center’s commitment to professionalism and world-class customer service. This is the twelfth time that the OCCC has been presented with a Reader’s Choice Award since its creation in 2001.
