Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Talks Energy Independence at Rollins

WHAT: Rollins College’s Winter Park Institute will host acclaimed author, environmentalist and attorney Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. in a discussion titled, “Green Gold Rush: A Vision for Energy Independence, Jobs and National Wealth.”   The forum is open to the public and free of charge. Seating is first come, first serve. Space is limited. Kennedy will also be available for a book signing after the event. His published books include New York Times best seller Crimes Against Nature (2004), The Hudson Riverkeepers (1997) and Judge Frank M. Johnson, Jr.: A Biography (1977).

Kennedy, one of TIME magazine’s “Heroes for the Planet,” serves as senior attorney for the Natural Resources Defense Council, chief prosecuting attorney for the Riverkeepers and president of the Waterkeeper Alliance. He is also a clinical professor and supervising attorney at Pace University School of Law’s Environmental Litigation Clinic and co-hosts Ring of Fire on Air America Radio.
