Orange County Tourist Development Tax Collections Set Another Record

The Orange County Tourist Development Tax (TDT) collections set another record, as totals for November 2025 were released.

Orange County Comptroller Phil Diamond announced that Tourist Development Tax (TDT) collections received by Orange County for the November 2025 TDT collection month were $34,563,900. That is a 8.7% increase compared to November 2024.

“There was one more reason to be thankful in November. TDT collections for November set another new record and were the highest collections ever recorded for the month” said Orange County Comptroller Phil Diamond.

On the TDT reserve side, Renewal & Replacement Reserves (R&RR) decreased by $27.5 million in November.

The Other Authorized Uses Reserves, which is a component of the R&RR, is currently at $130.9 million, of which $44.9 million is obligated for Applicant Review Committee (ARC) grants for various capital projects. The reduction in the R&RR is primarily due to Orange County making its first annual debt service payment to the City of Orlando for approximately $27 million for the $400 million Camping World Stadium renovation project.

Orange County will also make a $10 million payment to UCF for the $90 million expansion and renovation of the football stadium tower project.

Here is a chart showing the monthly year-over-year dollar amount change in TDT collections since October 2023:

The Orange County Comptroller will release the December 2025 TDT collections report in early February for another snapshot of Central Florida tourism.
