Orlando was ranked as the top National Night Out area.
The Orlando Police Department Community Relations Division was proud to announce that Orlando was ranked the #1 National Night Out area for 2025 by the National Association of Town Watch.
“This honor reflects the dedication of OPD, our residents, and Neighborhood Watch Block Captains,” OPD posted. “Congratulations to everyone who helped make Orlando the best in the nation.”
The awards program recognizes registered communities for participation in National Night Out, and each registered community competes with communities of similar population across the nation.
For areas with 300,000+ population, Orlando was at the top, here are other cities recognized:
- Orlando, Florida
- Arlington, Texas
- Chesterfield County, Virginia
- Columbus, Ohio
- Minneapolis, Minnesota
- Louisville-Jefferson County, Kentucky
The top ranked state was Texas.
