A man’s body was found floating in a pond at 5826 PGA Boulevard off W. Oak Ridge Road, Sunday afternoon, Orange County deputies said.
An onsite security guard at the Bonita Fountains apartment complex discovered the body just after 2:30 p.m., in a pond on the outer perimeter of the complex.
Authorities believe that the body had been in the water for several days before it was discovered.
Orange County Fire Rescue, Homicide detectives and other crime scene investigators went to the site to begin their investigation. No details have been released on how the victim might have expired.
The man’s identity has not yet been confirmed.
The investigation is ongoing.
