Daytona Lagoon is extending Teacher Appreciation Week into the weekend by offering free waterpark admission tickets on Saturday, May 7th and Sunday, May 8th. With proof of employment identification (school ID), teachers will save up to $38.99 on waterpark general admission. The waterpark is open from 11am to 6pm on Saturday and Sunday.
Teacher Appreciation Week is celebrated every year during the first week of May to honor those whose passion is to inspire and teach students to reach their full potential – our educators. With the tumultuousness of the last two years, teachers have been kept on their toes, needing to be ready to adapt at the drop of a hat for the sake of their students. This weekend, Daytona Lagoon is showing its gratitude to teachers for maintaining a positive learning environment that educators strive to create for their students.
“Teachers are an essential part of our community and society,” explains Tyler Currie, General Manager of Daytona Lagoon. “Great teachers care about their students and want to help them achieve their fullest potential, and this is one small way we can show our appreciation for them as the school year comes to a close.”
For the remainder of May, Daytona Lagoon will be open with full operations on the weekends and with limited operations on select weekdays for Pool Daze. Pool Daze is a $17.99 discounted admission per person with limited waterpark operation that includes access to Treasure Lagoon Wave Pool, Castaway Children’s Play Area, and a different slide tower every hour.
Daytona Beach’s Premier Waterpark and Fun Park offers a variety of attractions for guests of all ages. The Waterpark includes multiple thrilling water slides, kid-friendly play areas for younger guests, a lazy river, a sun deck, lounge chairs and cabanas available to rent. While the waterpark is open seasonally, Daytona Lagoon’s Fun Park is open year-round, featuring indoor and outdoor attractions including go-karts, mini-golf, a rope’s course, laser tag, arcade games, and more.
