Governor Rick Scott today toured the 225,000 square foot facility of Mitsubishi Power Systems Americas (MPSA) in Orlando, underscoring the company’s role as a leading example of job growth in the state’s crucial manufacturing and technology sector.
MPSA employs approximately 900 employees in Florida and since opening its doors in 2001, has made a capital investment of tens of millions of dollars in the State.
The MPSA Orlando facility is the service headquarters for the company’s fossil power generation business throughout the Western Hemisphere.
The company is a recognized global innovator in power generation technology with a workforce that is considered the benchmark for excellence in an industry that demands extraordinarily high manufacturing standards. Mitsubishi’s power generation products include the J-series gas turbine which is the most powerful and efficient gas turbine in the world.
