Lake County is pushing to become more “business friendly” by overhauling customer service processes across its various county departments.
Department heads are currently reviewing processes with the aim of adopting new ways to enhance the overall customer experience and create “an open for business” environment througout the organization.
“We want Lake County to be recognized as the most proactive county in the region for supporting local businesses, including business retention, expansion and attraction,” said County Manager, Darren Gray in a statement.
Once departments complete their customer service enhancements and they are reviewed, a County Manager’s certificate will be issued.
Several departments have received the certification, including the Office of Economic Development & Tourism, County Manager’s Office, Office of Information Outreach and Public Works Department.
