Earlier this month, on May 3rd at approximately 10:35am, Orlando Police Department officers responded to a commercial robbery at a convenience store located at 749 S. Westmoreland Dr.
The suspect waved a firearm at the store clerk and demanded money. Then, the suspect fled the scene.
Through their diligent investigative efforts, local Violent Crime Detectives identified the suspect as Luis Omar Ubiles.
OPD’s TAC Unit arrested Ubiles without incident. He was booked into the Orange County Jail and charged with Robbery with a Firearm.
