Officials are still trying to determine if food poisoning caused more than 50 people to fall ill at a holiday party in Maitland on Wednesday.
According to Local 6, Orange County Fire Rescue, Winter Park Fire Department and Seminole County Fire Rescue went to the Maitland Colannades, an office building located at 2301 Lucien Way, two hours after the commencement of a holiday luncheon.
There, about 25 people who complained of nausea, vomiting and diarrhea, were transported by ambulance to area hospitals.
Health officials are looking into whether or not the food might have been contaminated, as well as its preparation, thus leading to the illness.
While the event was a catered affair, the name of the catering company has not been disclosed, Local 6 also reported.
All who fell ill are expected to make a full recovery, officials say.
