A woman was shot and killed early this morning in an apartment on Timberleaf Avenue on Orlando’s west side, police said.
The deceased is 31-year-old Lashondra Collier.
Police arrived to the 5400 block of Timberleaf Avenue just before 2:30 a.m. where they found Collier suffering from a gunshot wound. She was pronounced dead at a local area hospital.
Police said, Collier knew her killer and the shooting was contained inside the apartment. Authorities have not said whether Collier was a victim of domestic violence.
A suspect has not yet been named in the murder.
The investigation is ongoing.
