Casey Anthony made a rare public appearance in a bankruptcy hearing in Tampa on Monday morning.
It is the first time Anthony is being seen so publicly since she was acquitted of murdering her 2-year-old daughter, Caylee, in 2011.
Anthony arrived outside the Federal Courthouse in Tampa, sitting in the back of a black SUV and wearing a hat over her face, according to news reports. As she alighted from the vehicle to a throng of reporters and photographers, she was held closely by her attorney Cheney Mason and hustled inside the building.
In January, Anthony filed for bankruptcy, wanting a fresh start. It is believe that she owes her creditors close to $800,000, while claiming assets of $1,000. Â Some of her creditors include, former Jose Baez, meter reader Roy Kronk, Orange County Sheriff’s Office and Zenaida Gonzalez who is suing Anthony for defamation.
Anthony will have to answer questions, for the first time, from attorneys representing various creditors.

Casey Athony was found innocent. Only she, anyone their at the time and God knows the TRUTH. I feel she knows what happened and not at her fault. I feel out of love she took the blame for someone else . Ofcoarse she loves little Calee but she’s in heaven now and cannot come back. So, she protects the one left she loves.I also feel an accident occured at someone elses hands . I truely believe her mom new knowing and was kept in the dark.
I feel casey went on with her life to keep her mind busy and off little calee .I think we need to let her alone and live her life. I feel she sufferes enough with her secrets she carries within. We are not God so there fore we really don’t know. Thanks for listening.
I feel that only GOD has the right to judge at this time, for she was already judged by man and found not GUILTY. She needs to be able to get on with her life and with everybody trying to pursue her for a crime in which she was aquitted for she will never be able to get on with her life, it’s no wonder she is filing for bankrurptcy because she can’t get anywhere with her life in order to make enough money to pay bills. SHE LOST HER DAUGHTER, nobody but her and god knows what really happened to little Calee, but now it’s time to let her start over!!!!!!!!!!!
