This 26-year-old Kissimmee woman, Amanda Mandee Lopez, confessed to police that she stabbed her ex-boyfriend, Larry Lee Fryar, 57, because she felt he had put a curse on her.

According to Amanda Lopez’s arrest affidavit, she told investigators that Fryar had put a curse on her and believed that the only way she could be free from her curse was to kill him.

Lopez also confessed to going to Fryar’s home at 541 Lake Tivoli Boulevard in Kissimmee on Monday. At some point she said she grabbed a steak knife and approached Fryar from behind as he sat on a couch and stabbed him several times.

Fryar was stabbed at least 8 time in the upper body, police said.  Lopez told investigators that she and Fryar had an off-again, on-again relationship over the past year.
