Orlando City Soccer to Discuss New Stadium with Public, Contractors

OrlandoCitySoccer2Orlando city officials and representatives of Orlando City Soccer will meet with potential contractors today, to discuss the construction of the new soccer stadium.

The Contractors’ Forum is intended to educate contractors on how to participate in the project. The meeting will take place at the Orlando Citrus Bowl, Varsity Club at 5:30 p.m., Wednesday, November 12, 2014.  Contractors interested in bidding on bidding on structural steel, site work/excavation, aluminum grandstand systems, fixed stadium seating, cast-in-place concrete and exterior load-bearing masonry work, are encouraged to attend.

Orlando City Soccer officials will hold a second meeting with members of the business and residential community later today. This meeting is a first in a series of informational meetings to keep area residents and businesses informed of the construction project.  The community meeting will take place, Wednesday, November 12, at the Shiloh Baptist Church, 604 West Jackson Street, beginning at 5:30 p.m.
