Deputies are searching for a couple wanted for questioning in the murder of a 30-year-old man whose body was discovered at the Vizcaya Lakes Apartments in Ocoee, on Saturday night.
Thomas “Mike” Heath and his wife, Shanna Heath are being sought in connection with the murder of Jay Stone, 30 years.
Thomas and Shanna Heath, investigators say, had befriended Jay and moved in with him on August 15th. Investigators also say, Jay’s Chevy Blazer is missing, along with the couple.
The 1995 Red Chevy TrailBlazer bears the tag, FL Tag# C371LD, and is currently listed as stolen. Thomas Heath is wanted for grand auto theft, investigators say.
Thomas Heath is about 5′ 5” tall and weights about 250 pounds. Shanna Heath is about 5′ 5” tall and weights about 300 pounds. Investigators say, the couple have two children approximately 2-4 years old.
Jay was reported missing on Saturday night by his parents. Investigators found his body in the apartment at 1229 Vizcaya Lake Road off State Road 50.
