Vibert White, the Orlando City Council candidate, seeking to unseat incumbent Commissioner Daisy Lynum of District 5, is back in the news again. An injunction was issued by Orange-Osceola Circuit Judge Theotis Bronson on Tuesday for White to have no contact with former girlfriend Loletta Simms, the Orlando Sentinel is reporting.
Differing accounts have been given by White and Simms as to what exactly transpired between them. However both agreed that they argued at White’s home on December 22nd 2009, where Simms had spent the night.
Simms said the council candidate jumped on her and punched her several times in the abdomen and she fought back. The council candidate claimed he was the one punched and kicked and he did not defend himself.
