The body of a transgender man was found early on Thursday morning in woods in the Oakridge area, Orange County deputies said.
Deputies responded to a shots fired call around 5:40 a.m., in the 1600 block of Nimrod Lane and located a black transgender victim, dead.
The victim, who has not yet been identified, appears to be between 25-30 years old, investigators said.
