Spurs take 3-2 lead

Tony Parker led the Spurs with 26 points in a 114-104 win over the Miami Heat Sunday night.

However, it was the sensational play of Manu Ginobili that pushed the Spurs over the edge.

“My first shot I made gave me a ton of confidence,” Ginobili said.

San Antonio head coach Greg Popovich inserted Ginobili into the starting line-up to get him into a groove.

“I knew having other guys on the floor that could score, Manu would find a way to get it going,” Pop said post game.

Manu finished with 24 points and 10 assists, shooting 8 for 14 from the field.

Danny Green chipped in 24 points while connecting on 6 3’s. Green now holds the record for the most three’s made in an NBA Finals, 25.

“I give all the glory to the man up stairs. I’m just glad I’m able to help my team win,” Green said.

What’s even crazier about his shooting, Green is shooting over 60% from three and over 70% on catch and shoot three’s.

LeBron James and Dwayne Wade both scored 25 points in the loss.

The Spurs put Boris Diaw on James, another fantastic move by Greg Popovich.

“He did a good job on me, I missed a lot of easy shots though,” James said of Diaw’s defense.

James shot 1 for 6 from the field while guarded by Diaw but shot 6 for 12 while guarded by other Spurs.

If the Spurs win this title, that would mean LeBron James would have watched someone else win a Championship on his own home court, three times.

Game 6 is Tuesday in Miami, tip off set for 9pm.
