An armed man with a fake bomb who attempted to rob an Amscot, was arrested earlier today, Sunday, December 13th.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office units responded to the Amscot located on Goldenrod South of Lake Underhill as a result of a call received around 10:37 am, of robbery with the use of an explosive device.
All employees were successfully evacuated from the premises.
No injuries have been reported. Surrounded roads were closed earlier today.
The police are continuing with their investigation and believe others might have been involved in the robbery attempt.
