Corporal Orlando Montero, was arrested by the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office during the pre-dawn hours, December 13, 2009, and charged with a violation of Domestic Battery-misdemeanor. He was subsequently booked into the Seminole County Jail.
The arrest stems from an incident that occurred at the deputy’s residence. Cpl. Montero was immediately relieved of duty and will be administratively reassigned pending the outcome of the agency’s internal review of this case.
Cpl. Montero joined the Orange County Sheriff’s Office on May 22nd 1998 and was currently assigned to the agency’s Special Operations & Investigations Division where he served in the Gang Unit.
