Rick Scott Caught Lying, Again

Although no court has ordered any state to stop implementing the Affordable Care Act, Gov. Rick Scott told the Palm Beach Post in an editorial board interview Thursday, the health care law signed by President Barack Obama last year is not the law of the land.

When Scott was pressed on why Florida was not taking federal money to implement the new health care law, Scott replied, “because it’s not the law of the land and I don’t believe it’ll ever become the law of the land,” huffingtonpost.com reports.

While some courts have ruled that the health care law is unconstitutional, no court has said that states should not move ahead with its implementation.
