A local firm partnered with a New York real estate investment company to acquire an office/flex-space complex in Orlando for $29 million.

Quorum Partners LLC, a joint venture between New York-based The Praedium Group and Maitland-based Tower Realty Partners Inc., bought the 13-building Quorum Center Orlando from San Antonio-based USAA Real Estate Co.

The 317,521-square-foot center is 85 percent occupied. Tower Realty Partners will serve as an equity investor, property manager and leasing agent on the property, a release said.

Mark Lippmann and Clifford Stein of The Praedium Group represented Quorum Partners in the deal, which Orange County records show closed Sept. 1. Ronald Rogg, executive vice president at CB Richard Ellis’ Orlando office, represented the seller in the deal.
