On Monday, Orlando police released a composite sketch of a suspect who they believe is responsible for a spate of armed robberies throughout the Central Florida area.
The suspect first robbed Cumberland Farms at 100 N. Bumby Avenue on September 7, then turned his attention to the CVS Pharmacy at 1201 E. Colonial Drive, three days later on September 10th. Both locations are in Orlando and the robberies occurred just after 7:00 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., respectively.
Investigators say, they believe that the same armed suspect robbed a 7-11 located at 351 North Lake Destiny Road on September 16, just before 11:00 p.m.
In all cases, police also say the man acted as though he is going to pay for an item, but instead, points a handgun and demanded cash.
The suspect is described as a black male, 5′ 11″, 250 pounds, with some facial hair.
Detectives have received very few leads so far, but if anyone knows the identity of this suspect or has information on these crimes, you are urged to call Crimeline at 1-800-423-TIPS.
Police say, citizens should not approach this suspect, as he is considered armed and dangerous.
