A man was shot dead off South Rio Grande Avenue in Orange County on Thursday, authorities said.
The man killed has been identified as Kenneth Martin Folsom, 41 years.
Deputies say, a citizen called 911 around 7:00 a.m. to report the sound of gun shots.
Arriving at 18th and Nashville Street, detectives searched the area but couldn’t locate anyone who heard or saw anything. The caller didn’t want to meet deputies, only report what was heard.
Authorities also say, just before 9:30 a.m., a pedestrian walking by 1410 18th Street saw the body of a man, later identify as Kenneth Folsom, lying in the grass on the east side of the home.
Folsom died from a gunshot wound.
Investigators have not released a motive for Folsom’s murder.
