Orange County deputies have arrested the man who they say is responsible for shooting to death his estranged girlfriend on Saturday afternoon.
The suspect is Travis Bivins, 33.
Investigators say, Bivins shot and killed Linda Lake, 45, in the 6700 block of Rubens Court, in the Pine Hills area on Orange County’s west side.
Lake was found deceased in the middle of the road, deputies said.
Investigators also say, the murder happened in front of the couple’s child, who was not harmed.
Bivins has been charged with first degree murder with a firearm and marijuana possession. He was booked into the Orange County Jail, without bond, on Saturday evening.
Neighbors reportedly say, that Bivins and Lake had a troubled relationship.
