Holiday shoppers are being encouraged to participate in Small Business Saturday by buying local on Saturday, November 24.
Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer says, this day showcases the City’s thriving small business community on the biggest shopping weekend of the year. Small businesses are the backbone of the local economy, so by shopping locally, consumers play an active role in contributing to the success of the Orlando community.
To participate, shoppers can simply visit their neighborhood commercial districts and shop or dine at their favorite local businesses. Many of the City’s independent retailers and restaurants are members of Buy Local Orlando and are located within Orlando’s eight Main Street districts and Downtown Orlando.
