The projects she has organized for Lancaster are endless including the “Compassion to Action” and “Mighty Mentor” programs along with the “Character Cash” reward system. She also developed 10 service-learning projects. They include promoting global peace and harmony through a partnership with students who visited Lancaster from China. As the computer lab paraprofessional, she has also helped improve reading gains for students. Guhl wrote a grant that awarded the school a $37,000 playground which the students will enjoy for years to come.
