New Boyfriend Stabbed to Death by Ex

A Casselberry man was arrested, accused of stabbing to death his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend on Thursday night.

32-year-old Adam Shawn Blyth, was arrested and charged with second degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and is in the Lake County Detention Center, Lake County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Investigators learned, Blyth had gone to the residence of ex-girlfriend, Natasha Petrinec at 21812 Rollingwood Trail in Eustis before 11:00 pm, on Thursday.  There he found Natasha sitting in her vehicle in a pasture behind the home, listening to music with her new boyfriend, 32-year-old Adam Pickering, of Titusville.

Natasha told deputies, Blyth arrived and tapped on the car window, then opened the car door and an altercation ensued.  During the altercation, Natasha heard Pickering say, he had been stabbed.  Blyth also cut Natasha on her leg during the altercation.

Natasha was able to drive Pickering back to the residence and call for assistance.

Pickering was transported to Florida Hospital Waterman, where he was pronounced dead.

Blyth was arrested around 3:00 am, on Friday.  He has been charged with second degree murder and aggravated battery with a deadly weapon and is in the Lake County Detention Center with no bond.
