Sanford Police are searching for a man who attempted to kill another man after an argument erupted outside a restaurant in Sanford on Wednesday night.
Investigators said, 42-year-old Sheralton Mays while seated in his silver Dodge Charger outside the Anna’s Family Restaurant at 2545 S. French Avenue in Sanford, fired two shots into the vehicle of his victim during an argument.
Police said, the victim had two other passengers in his vehicle, but no one was hurt, although two bullet holes were left in the victim’s vehicle.
Eyewitnesses provided police with the suspect’s name and the victim was able to positively identify Mays from a photo line-up.
Mays is being charged with attempted murder.
Mays is a Black male, about 5’5″ tall, weighing about 200 pounds. He was last seen driving a silver Dodge Charger with Florida tag # X735VD.
