Misión Boricua will honor Puerto Rican authors and film producers from Central Florida during a free community event on March 31st. The event will feature Benjamin Molina Ortiz, Ricardo Chevere Nazario, Vionette Pietri, Leila Lopez, Attorney Luis Pastrana, Juan Flores, Palmira Ubinas, Ileana Ciena, Paco Velez, Johanna Lopez, Carlos Sandoval, as well as a posthumous honor for George Mirabal.
The books and DVD’s presented during the event will cover a wide range of both fictional and nonfictional topics, which is sure to delight those in attendance. In addition, books and DVD’s will be available for sale.
The showcase will begin at 6pm sharp and will take place at Centro Borinqueño (1865 N. Econlockhatc
