Even as President Bill Clinton, former Florida Governor Charlie Crist, Sen. Bill Nelson and others, rallied thousands at UCF on Monday, one man turned out with this protest statement against Gov. Mitt Romney.
Dogs Against Romney have dogged the Republican presidential nominee throughout the campaign, after reports that the former governor strapped the family dog on the roof during a family trip. As the story goes, the Romneys Irish setter, Seamus, got sick while riding for 12 hours on the roof of Gov. Romney’s station wagon.
Both Romney and his wife, Ann, have said Seamus loved the experience. More recently, however, Gov. Romney has backed away from this saying, he won’t strap the dog crate to the top of the car because of the political fall out.
