A man robbed a Dollar General store, after hiding in it until after closing time.
Orange County Sheriff’s Office Communication Center received a 911 call on Sunday, December 13th, in reference to a robbery at the Dollar General located at 5403 Edgewater Road.
Deputies suspect that the suspect hid inside the business and suddenly appeared approximately fifteen minutes after closing time. The suspect tackled a female associate and physically forced her towards the office. A male worker heard the female screaming looked at the video monitor and observed the incident on camera. The suspect released the female worker but continued on with the robbery. The suspect entered the office and removed an undisclosed amount in US currency. No weapons seen.
