The Orlando Magic decked the halls across Central Florida and spread holiday cheer this past week to local children and families.
On Tuesday, December 15 Magic players Vince Carter, Ryan Anderson and Brandon Bass took time to visit with pediatric patients at Florida Hospital for Children; the Magic Backcourt (which was created by the Magic players, coaches and basketball operation’s wives, girlfriends and family members as a way to give back to the community) held an event on Friday, December 18 to raise money for Edgewood Children’s Ranch; and Magic players J.J. Redick and Ryan Anderson took youth from the Children’s Home Society shopping on Sunday, December 20.
The holiday spirit will continue this week as the entire Magic team and coaching staff will host a holiday party with 42 local families on Tuesday, December 22 and one family will have a “big” surprise at the Magic’s Christmas day matchup with the Celtics.
