(www.autojusticeattorney.com) will sponsor its first annual carnival-themed fundraiser on Saturday, July 27, 2013 at the Dr. JB Callahan Neighborhood Community Center located at 101 N. Parramore Ave., Orlando, FL 32801 from 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM. All proceeds and ticket sales will benefit the family of a single father of three diagnosed with Stage IV incurable lung cancer.
“During these tough economic times, we are reminded that coming together as a community can make all the difference for those in need. As a father and a local business owner, I am encouraging the community and other local businesses to join us in helping raise money for this very deserving family,” said attorney Michael T. Gibson.
Izzy Rodriguez, 56, a veteran of the U.S. Army and single father of three boys, Brandon (13), Ryan (7) and Kyle (6) was diagnosed with Stage IV incurable lung cancer in April. He is currently undergoing radiation treatment and will soon begin chemotherapy in the hopes of extending his life. Since being diagnosed, his family has fallen on incredibly hard times. Last month, Izzy was evicted from his mechanic shop, Izzy’s Automotive, which has since gone out of business. He has been unable to work since early May due to his illness and numerous cancer treatments he has undergone.
The Michael T. Gibson Carnival-Themed Fundraiser will be a fun-filled family event featuring an afternoon of games, rides and concessions. Attendees will enjoy carnival-themed games, prizes and concession favorites such as cotton candy, sno-cones and popcorn. There will be a DJ, party train, dunk tank, face painting and balloon animals. All proceeds and ticket sales will directly benefit the Rodriguez family.
