Goodwill Launches Roundup Initiative to Support Ukrainian Refugees

With the United States pledging to welcome up to 100,000 Ukrainian refugees, Goodwill is hosting a nationwide effort to provide critical aid to refugees in need.

That’s why locally, from May 22nd through May 28th, Goodwill Industries of Central Florida is offering shoppers an opportunity to support Ukrainian refugees by rounding up to the next dollar at checkout. One hundred percent of the roundup funds will go to The International Rescue Committee, which is working with local partners in Ukraine to support the evacuation of women and children, as well as provide critical resources and funds to refugees who have been displaced.

With 30 retail stores across Orange, Osceola, Seminole, Lake, Brevard and Volusia counties, Goodwill makes it easy to find quality household goods at affordable prices. Every sale at Goodwill supports the community and now the nonprofit wants to make sure to extend that goodwill to our international neighbors as well.
