The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Department of Justice should uphold law and order, but according to a Florida Republican candidate for U.S. Senate, it seems that ship has sailed after the indictment of former President Donald Trump. Conservative Keith Gross said those government agencies are now just another weapon for the Biden Administration to exploit and he wants to abolish and defund them.
“Abolish the FBI and defund the DOJ. They’re in bed with the corrupt Washington elites and no longer prioritize the interests of the American people,” said Gross, who is challenging Senator Rick Scott in the Republican primary. “Redirect the funds to state law enforcement so they’ll actually enforce the laws. Originally, the states were solely responsible for law enforcement.”
Gross added that President Joe Biden “loves to waste American tax dollars” and that the Democratic President is using public tax dollars to fund organizations that can do his bidding.
The Florida Republican candidate also expressed frustration that the federal government is not focused on the border crisis, or spiking crime rates or the ongoing drug abuse epidemic. He thinks that instead of doing his job, President Biden is “fixated on trying to take down his political opponent, Donald Trump,” and adding that “indicting the former president of the United States and current frontrunner for the Republican nomination on criminal charges is the biggest security threat to our nation,” according to the federal government.
“The FBI and the DOJ didn’t prosecute Hilary Clinton for mishandling classified documents and storing them on a private server, which she ultimately wiped,” added Gross. “Donald Trump is a threat and the left will do anything they can to destroy Republicans.”
Senator Rick Scott also condemned the Trump indictment with a strong statement, adding to the heated politics. “Biden is single-handedly destroying the justice system in America,” the Republican incumbent said. “After tonight, Biden will go down as the most corrupt and despotic President in our nation’s history. On the day his $5M bribe is exposed to the public, his DOJ indicts Trump for something he himself has done. But hypocrisy is not Biden’s worst sin. That would be his destruction of equal justice under the law. He cannot be allowed to serve another term as President.”
