The 4th Annual Florida Open for Golfers with Disabilities is scheduled for June 13th, 2009 at Kissimmee Bay Country Club, located at 2801 Kissimmee Bay Boulevard, Kissimmee, Florida 34744.
Sponsored by the National Alliance for Accessible Golf, and Florida Golf Magazine, the goal is to “have fun while raising awareness of accessibility issues concerning disabled and mobility challenged golfers.”
In a conscious effort to be all-inclusive, golfers without disabilities are encouraged to play in the tournament, along with their friends with disabilities. All golfers are eligible to compete for the Low Gross Awards.
Everyone with a USGA Handicap is eligible to compete for the Low Net Awards. EAGA Member Mike Hudson is the Defending Champion.
